About the Role
Job Description
We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join our Product Team and drive the discovery, definition, and delivery of high-impact solutions across the EHR Data Archival and clinical data domains. This role will work closely with Product Managers, Engineering, QA, Operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex healthcare and revenue cycle needs into clear product requirements.
The ideal candidate brings strong experience in Electronic Health Records (EHR), clinical documentation workflows, and product-led delivery. This person should be comfortable bridging business and technology, analyzing end-to-end workflows, identifying gaps, and shaping scalable product solutions.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Partner with Product Managers to define product vision, roadmap inputs, and feature requirements for EHR-related capabilities.
- Gather, analyse, and document business requirements, workflows, process maps, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Work with internal stakeholders including customer success, implementation, and engineering teams to understand pain points and translate them into product improvements.
- Analyse current-state and future-state workflows across areas such as:
- patient registration and demographics
- appointment and encounter workflows
- charting/documentation
- claims, billing, denials, and collections
- AR follow-up and reimbursement tracking
- Create detailed functional specifications for product features, integrations, rules engines, reporting, and automation opportunities.
- Support backlog refinement, sprint planning, UAT, release readiness, and post-release validation.
- Define business rules, field mappings, data requirements, and process dependencies across systems.
- Collaborate with UX/design teams to ensure workflows are intuitive and aligned with end-user needs.
- Work with technical teams on integrations involving EHR platforms, payer systems, and related healthcare applications.
- Use data analysis to identify trends, operational inefficiencies, root causes, and opportunities for product optimization.
- Ensure requirements are aligned with healthcare compliance, privacy, security, and audit expectations.
- Act as a subject matter expert for EHR workflows and support cross-functional decision-making.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Product Analyst, or similar role.
- Strong experience working in a product-based environment, preferably in healthcare technology.
- Proven expertise in EHR systems and healthcare workflows.
- Strong understanding of healthcare operational workflows, clinical documentation, billing, claims lifecycle, denials, collections, and reimbursement processes.

- Experience with tools such as Figma, Jira, Confluence, Lucidchart, Visio, SQL, Excel, or similar analysis/documentation tools.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with EHR interoperability standards such as HL7, FHIR, or related healthcare data exchange standards.
- Exposure to healthcare compliance and regulatory requirements such as HIPAA and revenue cycle controls.
- Experience with payer integrations, claims processing, denial management, and AR analytics/reporting.
- Familiarity with product metrics, experimentation, and outcome-driven product development.
- Experience working with healthcare SaaS platforms, provider organizations, RCM platforms, or digital health products.
- Certification such as CBAP, PMI-PBA, CSM, CSPO, or equivalent is a plus.
