We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to support a large-scale application modernization and business transformation initiative involving the replacement of legacy motor vehicle registration and driver management systems with a unified administration platform. The successful candidate will work closely with project managers, delivery teams, business representatives, and technical stakeholders to gather and validate requirements, document business processes, perform fit-gap analysis, support data migration, coordinate testing activities, and facilitate organizational change readiness.
Requirements
- Post-secondary education (2+ year program) in business, computer science, or a related field from a recognized institution. Professional certifications are an asset.
- 7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, including 3- 6 years of complex, large-scale modernization projects.
- Experience/knowledge of Mainframe systems would be an asset.
- Describe experience in soliciting, documenting and validating business requirements.
- Describe experience with stakeholder engagement, business process transformation and change management. This should include how the resource demonstrates strong written and oral communication skills.
- Describe data migration experience supporting data mapping, data conversion, data validation, reconciliation, and migration readiness activities.
- Describe experience preparing test strategies / test plans, test cases; executing test cases/scripts, and experience monitoring /controlling test plan execution.
- Provide examples of recent successful projects (within the last two years) whereby the identified resource worked as a Senior Business Analyst.
Skills Required

- Seven or more years of experience as a Business Analyst.
- Three to six years of experience working on complex, large-scale modernization projects.
- Experience soliciting, documenting, and validating business requirements.

- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Data migration experience involving data mapping, conversion, validation, reconciliation, and migration readiness.
