Job Description
We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join the NA Product Marketing Operations team within Columbia Threadneedle Investments, an Ameriprise Financial company. The role supports the presentation, commentary, and product marketing teams by providing data analytics, operational support, and production coordination. It works closely with Performance Analytics and Product teams to implement quarterly updates, troubleshoot data discrepancies, and ensure the accuracy of quantitative content across marketing collateral. The position also supports sales enablement and content management systems and contributes to ongoing workflow and process improvements within product marketing operations. This position does not currently manage individuals.Job Responsibilities:
Run, validate and format data for marketing materials, including performance, characteristics, and returns‑based metrics; troubleshoot data discrepancies by partnering with Performance Analytics and Product teams to ensure accuracy and consistency.
Write or modify SQL queries and other data extracts to support quarterly and monthly update cycles.
Coordinate and produce recurring reporting and analysis to support presentation, commentary, and product marketing production for both retail and institutional marketing materials.
Post modular content to the appropriate platforms and channels, ensuring correct metadata tagging as needed for distribution.
Provides operational support for monthly and quarterly production of marketing materials.
Participate in production meetings and check-ins to communicate timely updates to marketing stakeholders across workflows.
Recommend and implement workflow improvements that enhance accuracy, efficiency, and operational consistency.
Job Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree with 3-5 years of experience in Finance/Economics/Engineering or any related fields and/or MBA (Finance)/Master’s in Economics and/or pursuing CFA.
Excellent knowledge of MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word; knowledge of sales enablement platforms and/or CRM software.
Programming experience with Excel VBA, SQL Server/Access databases, or any programming language preferred.
Excellent organisational and project management skills to track and manage multiple marketing pieces with various process steps and deadlines.
Highly motivated self-starter with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work effectively on multiple projects under tight deadlines.
Experience working with and managing content within SharePoint.
