Job Purpose
We are seeking a highly motivated, proactive, and detail-oriented Business Execution Analyst / Associate with 4 to 5 years of experience to join our Investor Services Business Execution team within the Citi Services group.
In this role, you will play a pivotal part in driving business execution, operational efficiency, and management reporting. You will collaborate closely with various cross-functional teams to support strategic decision-making, manage headcount and expense processes, perform market and competitor benchmarking, and prepare high-impact presentations for senior leadership.
The ideal candidate is a "go-getter" who can wear multiple hats, adapt quickly to changing priorities, and deliver high-quality results under tight deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
1. Business Execution & Operational Support
- GOC Management: Support and facilitate the Global Organization Code (GOC) processes, ensuring alignment with organizational standards.
- Headcount & Resource Management: Manage headcount and hiring requests submitted to the EMF (Expense Management Forum) and coordinate other hiring-related activities.
- Organization Design: Assist in organizational design initiatives
- Expense Reviews: Conduct regular expense reviews and financial tracking to identify cost-saving opportunities and ensure budget compliance.
2. Market Intelligence & Business Analysis
- Coalition & Competitor Analysis: Perform detailed Coalition analysis and competitor benchmarking to assess market share, industry trends, and competitive positioning.
- Pricing & Fee Schedules: Develop a strong familiarity with basic pricing concepts and fee schedule structures to support business execution and revenue optimization.
- Product Life Cycle: Apply a solid understanding of the Product Life Cycle to support different business and product lines within the Citi Services group.
3. Management Reporting & Executive Presentations
- EMT & MBR Support: Lead the preparation and consolidation of materials for Monthly Business Reviews (MBRs) and other Executive Management Team (EMT) level decks.
- Proactive Needs Assessment: Proactively anticipate and understand management needs, collaborating with various functions across Investor Services to gather data and synthesize insights into polished, executive-ready presentations.
4. Data Analytics & Modeling
- Data Modeling & Analysis: Leverage excellent data analysis and data modeling skills to interpret complex datasets, identify trends, and provide actionable business insights.
- Tool Utilization: Utilize advanced productivity and collaboration tools, including SharePoint, MS Excel, and Citi Stylus/AI tools, to streamline workflows and automate reporting.
Qualifications & Skillset
Experience & Education
- Experience: 4 to 5 years of professional experience in business execution, operations, management consulting, or business analysis within the Financial Services industry (experience in Investor Services or Securities Services is highly preferred).
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Information Systems, or a related field.
Technical Skills
- MS Office Suite (Must-Have): Hands-on, advanced proficiency in MS Excel (intermediate to advanced features, data modeling, formulas, and pivot tables) and MS PowerPoint (creating professional, executive-level presentations).
- Collaboration Tools: Strong working knowledge of SharePoint for document management and collaboration.
- AI & Productivity Tools: Familiarity with Citi Stylus / AI tools (or equivalent generative AI and productivity platforms) is highly advantageous.
- Data Modeling: Proven ability to structure, model, and analyze data to solve complex business problems.
