As Sr. Brand Manager Taiwan you are a creative thinker who can lead, develop, and execute new marketing programs. You are business-oriented manager who value measuring and optimizing the effectiveness and return to your marketing program. You will create and implement marketing and business strategy to group our user bases and maintain the long-term brand health of both mobile and PC/Console franchises.
You must be able to assess market conditions across Taiwan and Hong Kong markets and put together comprehensive plans with a broad view that encompasses brand partnerships, media, social media marketing and collaboration with Communications on PR and ambassador activity.
Responsibilities
- Brand & Franchise Stewardship: Ensure consistent messaging and visual identity across all channels while leveraging analytics and market trends to build competitive brand strategies for Taiwan and Hong Kong.
- Go-to-Market & Campaign Execution: Develop and execute launch plans for new games, updates, and expansions, leading cross-functional teams to deliver campaigns aligned with brand objectives.
- Budget Management: Oversee sales and marketing budgets, ensuring efficient resource allocation.
- Performance Measurement: Set KPIs, assess campaign effectiveness, and optimize future executions to ensure the delivery of target business goals.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Present strategies to International, and HQ teams; work with Communications, Community, and Commercial teams for integrated marketing.
- Agency and Partnership Management: Skilled in managing external agencies and partners to enhance brand presence via impactful campaigns based on clear briefs and brand strategies.
- Paid Media: Develop and execute paid media plans with agencies, setting clear objectives and KPIs.
- Community & Social Engagement: Manage Blizzard franchise channels, plan content to boost engagement, and analyze player sentiment to share insights with stakeholders.
- Marketing Assets: Adapt global assets or create local ones to promote content and drive engagement; organize asset operations.
- Compliance & Market Operations: Awareness of legal compliance, age ratings, and operational requirements in the gaming industry.
- Business Development & Partnerships: Identify market gaps, propose solutions, and initiate creative collaborations for unique player experiences.
Player Profile
- Has 8+ years of direct work experience in publishing, marketing, product management or strategic planning with a minimum of 3 years’ working in the video game, media, agency, tech or Internet industry.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills, team player.
- Strong track record of delivering results.
- Demonstrated flexible thinking.
- Passion for data and consumer insight driven decision-making.
- In depth knowledge of the Taiwan/Hong Kong video games industry and broad understanding of channels within (social, media)
- Strong format understanding across console, premium and free-to-play PC, and mobile, with deep expertise in game ecosystems, monetization models, and player engagement strategies.
- Ability to work collaboratively and cross-functionally with internal and external teams at fast pace.
- Proficient (and working) knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Able to travel internationally if needed.
- Language capability required (English, Mandarin).
