We have an excellent opportunity available for a Senior Brand Manager Heinz, based in Amsterdam, to make a difference at Kraft Heinz. The Senior Brand Manager operates within our local Benelux business unit, one of the biggest BU's within our newly created EPDM region (Europe, Pacific developed markets). The Senior Brand manager is part of the extended leadership team within our BU and reports directly to the Marketing director Benelux.
This role is critical for Kraft Heinz as the Senior Brand Manager will have the responsibility to define the future strategy of Heinz within our BU, drive excellence in execution of that strategy and influence our EPDM innovation strategy and roadmap that fits for Benelux. Furthermore, you will help drive the marketing transformation we are currently in, using your previous marketing experience to build marketing capabilities for the team to make an impact in the market. You'll be working in a high performing team, with a lot of exposure to internal and external senior stakeholders as Heinz is our no.1 Global brand.
The perfect candidate combines strong strategic thinking with creative flair and excellence in execution. You are a self-starter, hands-on person and your feel comfortable managing both peers and upward stakeholders. You know your way with media and creative agencies, but you have enough creative flair to bring your own creativity to life together with our in-house agency The Kitchen.

About the position
In brief, you will be responsible for.
- Lead the brand strategy for Heinz in the Benelux both in Retail and Away from Home (AFH).
- Define the innovation opportunities and roll-out of innovations in the local market.
- Develop the communications strategy and comms plan to land the brand in culture. Work together with the regional (EPDM) Heinz brand team and assessing what is relevant to the Benelux.
- Define the Brand building strategy for AFH to activate the brand front of house (consumer facing).
- Understand consumers' needs and identify relevant consumer insights.
- Prepare 3 years strategy and country annual plans together with the category team.
- Ensure excellent execution of agreed plans in the local market.
- Monitor competitive activities.
- Tight control of allocated marketing budget.
- Daily management of one direct report.
- Support the marketing director in the marketing transformation, with thought leadership on capability building, creativity, inspirational sessions and team engagement.
Qualifications

Please kindly note that you need to have an EU Working Permit (Orientation Year Visa not included) in order to proceed for this position.
- Relevant master's degree
- 6+ years of work experience in FMCG Marketing with strong functional marketing knowledge
- Experience in the innovation process
- Fluency in English and Dutch
- Previous management experience is a plus
