Role Summary
The Senior Bilingual Lawyer will provide comprehensive legal support across various functions and projects within BTECH. This role entails guiding the organization through complex legal frameworks, ensuring compliance with applicable laws, and managing litigation matters. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, exceptional bilingual proficiency (Arabic & English), and a minimum of 5–7 years of experience in corporate law and litigation.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide array of legal documents, including contracts, commercial agreements, and corporate governance materials.
- Provide legal advice on compliance with regulatory requirements and corporate policies.
- Manage dispute resolution processes and litigation matters, coordinating with external counsels as necessary.
- Conduct legal research to advise on the implications of relevant laws and regulations.
- Support in the structuring and execution of M&A transactions and other corporate initiatives.
- Participate in the development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure legal compliance.
- Train and educate staff on legal and compliance matters.
- Keep up to date with legislative changes that may affect the organization.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB); additional qualifications (e.g., Master’s, Bar membership) are advantageous.
- 5–7 years of relevant experience in corporate and commercial law, preferably within a multinational setting.
- Bilingual proficiency in Arabic and English, with excellent drafting and negotiation skills.
- Strong understanding of corporate governance, compliance, and legal frameworks.
- Effective communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Proven experience in managing litigation processes and legal disputes.
