The Role:

The Manufacturing Planning Project Manager is a pivotal role within the Global Manufacturing Planning team, responsible for operationalizing the team’s strategic vision. The primary objective of this position is to centralize coordination efforts to establish a scalable, repeatable, and data-driven planning capability by combining rigorous project management methodologies and advanced data analytics.You will be an architect in our team’s workflow.

Strategic Project Execution & Workflow Management

• Collaborate with executives to translate strategic goals into clear , executable tasks with defined timelines, milestones, and deliverables

• Prioritize team tasks to ensure focus on the highest-impact initiatives  

• Lead end-to-end execution and cross-functional coordination of projects across manufacturing, supply chain and IT

• Manage the rollout of new tools and processes, and conduct subsequent team training

Data Intelligence & Process Improvement 

• Collect, organize and evaluate Global Manufacturing Planning data from disparate sources (ERP, MES,Kinaxis, Excel.. ) 

• Design and maintain performance reports and visualization dashboards for improved decision making process

• Identify repetitive manual workflows and leverage RPA tools or AI solutions to enhance planning accuracy and efficiency   

• Proactively identify and lead initiatives to streamline operational processes across the planning function

Key Qualifications:

For consideration, you must bring the following minimum skills and behaviors to our team:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics, or a related field

• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing planning, supply chain operations, or technical project management

• PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile/Scrum certification is highly preferred

• Excellent communication skills in both English and Mandarin , high self-motivated with strong execution ability 

In addition, preferable skills and behaviors include:

• Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle), Kinaxis RapidResponse , Advanced Planning Systems (APS), or other supply chain management platforms

• Proficiency with data visualization tools ,such as Tableau and Power BI  is a big plus

• Strong SQL skills for data querying, proficiency in Python for data analysis and workflow automation , AI literacy/experience is a strong plus

Education:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree required
