Acquisition Integration

  • Lead all benefit integration activities for newly acquired companies.
  • Conduct benefits due diligence during acquisitions.
  • Evaluate legacy benefit programs and develop transition strategies.
  • Build integration timelines and execute seamless benefit migrations.
  • Partner with HR, Payroll, Finance, Legal, and acquisition teams to ensure successful employee transitions.

Benefits Operations:  Personally oversee the day-to-day administration of all employee benefit programs including:

  • Medical, Dental and Vision
  • Prescription Drug
  • Health Savings Accounts (HSA) and Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA)
  • 401(k)
  • Life Insurance, Disability, Leave of Absence programs, COBRA and Wellness initiatives
  • Resolve complex employee benefit issues.
  • Ensure accurate system configuration within ADP and benefit platforms.
  • Manage eligibility, life events, enrollments, and vendor file integrity.
  • Develop and maintain policies, procedures, and documentation.

Vendor Management

  • Serve as primary relationship manager for brokers, consultants, insurance carriers, retirement providers, and third-party administrators.
  • Lead vendor performance reviews and contract negotiations.
  • Monitor service levels and identify opportunities for improved employee experience and cost savings.

Compliance & Governance:  Ensure compliance with:

  • ERISA
  •  ACA
  • COBRA
  • HIPAA
  • Section 125
  • IRS regulations
  • Department of Labor requirements
  • State leave laws
  • Coordinate annual audits and regulatory reporting.
  • Partner with Legal on benefit compliance matters.

Financial Stewardship

  • Develop annual benefits budgets.
  • Monitor claims experience and cost trends.
  • Analyze utilization data and recommend improvements.
  • Support annual financial planning and forecasting.

Employee Experience

  • Build simple, engaging employee communications.
  • Lead Open Enrollment communications and education.
  • Develop executive-level reporting and workforce insights.
  • Ensure employees understand and maximize the value of GRVTY's benefit offerings

What You Must Have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, or related field.
  • 8+ years of progressive benefits leadership experience.
  • Experience leading benefits during mergers, acquisitions, or organizational integrations.
