Job Title- Sr. Backup Engineer
Location- Briarcliff Manor, New York
Duration- 12+ Months
Must-Have Skills: PowerScale
Nice-to-Have Skills: Experience in HPC and high-performance storage environments
Project Tasks
The customer operates a large PowerScale cluster environment and requires a skilled PowerScale expert at each location. Due to the environment’s size, multiple support tickets are managed daily.
Each resident will be expected to:
• Open and manage all Dell support tickets, including handling all requests from support (e.g., gathering logs, executing commands, etc.) until issues are resolved.
• Work with support to manage all escalations.
• Coordinate and collaborate with the Dell Field Services team when dispatched to the customer’s location.
• Assist the customer with any additional tasks or activities as requested.
Each resource must have proven experience in:
• Fast-paced environments.
• Working with Dell Customer Support.
• Managing escalations within Dell Support.
• Being detail-oriented.
• Driving issues to successful resolution.
