About the Role

As a Backend Software Engineer, you will work directly with stakeholders and other engineers to research, design and build new tools and features. A successful candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, leadership and mentorship experience, and the ability (along with an inherent desire) to write clean, extensible, bug-free, and bug-resistant code.

Most of our backend is written in Java using Spring Boot, Microservices and AWS, so a passion for these technologies is a must. We absolutely love working with Java and are constantly trying to improve our craft. If this resonates with you, then please come join us - you'll fit right in!

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement new features, write tests, review code and fix bugs
• Participate in standups, workshops, sprint grooming and feature demos
• Work with product and project teams to help plan our ambitious roadmap
• Research, study, strive to improve your skillset
• We care about code quality - "don't just get it done, get it done right"

Qualifications and Requirements

• 8+ years of professional backend experience
• Experience with Java (Spring Boot)
• Experience with Microservices
• Experience with Hibernate
• Experience with AWS
• Experience with SQL
• Experience with unit and integration testing
• Authorized to work in the U.S.

Compensation

The salary range for this position is $170K - 220K (Depending on experience and level assessed post interviews)
