About the Team & Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated AWS Cloud Engineer with a strong development background to join our dynamic engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of designing, implementing, and managing scalable cloud infrastructure solutions on the AWS platform, leveraging Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and cutting-edge technologies. The AWS Cloud Engineer will play a pivotal role in driving our cloud initiatives, ensuring the reliability, security, and efficiency of our AWS cloud environments.
How you'll make an impact
Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Build and maintain reusable, well-documented Terraform modules to manage cloud infrastructure across multiple environments with consistency and traceability.
Cloud Automation: Write Python-based automation to orchestrate cloud operations, streamline provisioning, and reduce manual toil.
Cloud Architecture: Design and implement resilient, secure, and scalable AWS environments using native services and modern architectural principles.
Full-Stack Cloud Engineering: Go beyond provisioning—design, develop, and maintain applications running in the cloud using Python or Go, with a strong understanding of distributed systems, event-driven design, and microservices.
AI/ML Tooling: Leverage modern AI/ML frameworks and tools such as AWS Bedrock, SageMaker, LangChain, Crew, or OpenAI APIs to build intelligent cloud-native applications and agent-driven workflows.
Security and Compliance: Apply least-privilege IAM policies, enforce encryption, and proactively manage vulnerabilities to align with security best practices.
Observability: Implement logging, metrics, and tracing using tools like CloudWatch, Datadog, or Splunk to monitor health, performance, and usage trends.
Version Control & CI/CD: Use GitHub and GitHub Actions to manage code, enforce guardrails, and automate deployments.
Incident Response & Troubleshooting: Respond to cloud infrastructure issues quickly, conduct root cause analysis, and implement remediations.
Disaster Recovery & Resilience: Define recovery strategies and ensure critical workloads can fail over safely.
Collaboration: Partner with application developers, security engineers, and product owners to align infrastructure with business needs.
Documentation: Write clear, concise runbooks, architecture diagrams, and configuration guides to support team scalability and onboarding.
