Job Summary: As our AWS Sales Engineer you’ll truly provide a fanatical experience to our customers. You'll be instrumental in driving cloud adoption to our customers. You’ll be partnering with our sales teams, clients, and industry leaders to deliver technical excellence.
Work Location: This role may work remotely within a one drive from the city of Sacramento, CA.
Travel: 10%-20% mostly within the state of California.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with our AWS Sales Representative to sell AWS specifically to the state government of California.
- Gather customer requirements.
- Teach the value of AWS and Rackspace.
- Provide critical missions to state agency and apply technical solutions to their needs.
- Drive business and document Solutions.
- Simultaneously be focused on public cloud and opportunistic on private cloud.
Qualifications
- Minimum of eight years of front facing technical customer resource. For example solution architecture.
- Minimum of four years working with state agencies.
- Ability to excel in a fast paced highly competitive environment.
- Ability to be flexible not have tunnel vision… ability to juggle multiple tasks at once.
- Strong AWS skills.
- Strong writing and speaking skills with the English language.

The anticipated starting pay range for California, New York City and Washington is: $148,400-$261,030.
