Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior AV Project Manager to lead enterprise-level Audio/Visual (AV) system design, consulting, and project execution.
This role requires a technically strong professional who can bridge business needs with AV technology solutions, manage projects from planning to completion, and provide hands-on support during system deployment.
The ideal candidate will have experience designing enterprise video conferencing systems, managing AV integrations, and working directly with clients and cross-functional technical teams.
Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities
Client & Business Engagement
Act as the primary AV subject matter expert (SME) for clients and internal teams
Conduct needs assessments and recommend scalable AV solutions
Present AV technologies including video conferencing and collaboration platforms
Translate business requirements into technical system designs
Maintain strong relationships with customers, vendors, and integration partners
AV System Design & Engineering
Design and engineer enterprise AV systems including:
Video conferencing rooms (Huddle, Conference, Boardroom, Training Rooms)
Collaboration spaces and multi-purpose environments
Digital signage and integrated AV systems
Experience with:
Cisco video conferencing solutions (Room Series, Codec platforms)
Poly collaboration systems
Cisco Webex
Microsoft Teams
Zoom
Additional responsibilities include:
Signal flow design
Network integration
DSP configuration concepts
Control systems integration
Project Management & Leadership
Lead AV projects from concept through completion
Manage internal technicians and external integration partners
Develop project timelines, milestones, and resource plans
Coordinate with IT, networking, facilities, and construction teams
Ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope and budget
Identify and mitigate technical and operational risks
BoM & Commercial Review
Develop detailed Bills of Materials (BoM) for AV systems
Validate vendor quotations and equipment compatibility
Ensure alignment with project scope and budget
Support procurement and cost optimization strategies
Documentation & Reporting
Define project scope clearly for clients and integration teams
Produce technical documentation and system diagrams
Prepare completion reports including:
As-built documentation
Equipment lists
Test results
Client sign-off documentation
Installation Oversight & Technical Support
Oversee AV installation and commissioning
Support system testing and user acceptance
Troubleshoot video conferencing and AV integration issues
Provide end-user training and executive-level support
Qualifications
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Network, Telecommunications, Audio/Visual, or related field
Experience
7+ years of AV system design, integration, or project management experience preferred
Experience managing enterprise AV deployments
Strong understanding of IP-based AV and networking fundamentals
Experience working with unified communication platforms
Skills
Strong communication skills with executives and technical teams
Ability to lead cross-functional teams
Strong documentation and reporting capabilities
Detail-oriented with strong decision-making ability
Ability to work in fast-paced environments
Additional Requirements
Travel up to 50%
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
