About the role:
The Sr. Associate of Product Marketing will play a critical part in shaping our product messaging, positioning, and go-to-market strategies. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Product, Growth Marketing, and Merchant Network to drive product adoption and opportunities to increase customer engagement and retention.
The Impact You Will Make:
- Product Positioning & Messaging: Develop compelling product messaging and positioning that resonates with target audiences and differentiates our offerings in the market.
- Go-to-Market Strategy: Collaborate with Product Management and Sales teams to design and execute go-to-market plans for new product launches and feature releases.
- Content Development: Create and manage marketing collateral, including but not limited to presentations that effectively communicate product benefits and use cases.
- Performance Tracking: Monitor and analyze marketing performance metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of campaigns and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Product, Growth Marketing, Analytics and Merchant Network teams to ensure alignment on product vision and customer needs.
What you bring to the table:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- 3-5+ years experience in product marketing or a related role, preferably in the tech industry.
- Strong understanding of marketing principles, product lifecycle, and go-to-market strategies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to craft persuasive messaging.
- Proven analytical skills with experience in performance metrics.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment.
- A proven ability to prioritize and execute tasks, with a strong bias to action
- A creative and collaborative inclination; you love working with a team and solving challenging problems in new ways
The base salary ranges for this position are below. The ranges provided exclude other forms of compensation such as equity and bonus.
Illinois: $88,000-132,000 base salary range
New York: $97,000-$145,000 base salary range
Grubhub uses geographic-specific salary structures, which means the salary offered may vary depending on where the job is located. The final salary offer will take into account various factors, such as the candidate's skills, education, training, credentials, and experience. In addition to the base salary, the role might also come with equity and other pay incentives as part of the full compensation package.
