About The Opportunity
As a Sr. Associate on the CRM Operations team, you'll have the opportunity to bring campaigns to life across multiple CRM channels to build loyalty and trust with our delivery partners, alert them of new programs and product features, and assist in building our lifecycle communications. You will also act as the go-to resource for ad-hoc projects and communications to our network of contracted delivery partners; support campaign development and collaborate cross-functionally with operational and product stakeholders.
This role requires prior experience in CRM campaign management/deployment and segmentation, building in-platform customer journeys and triggered programs, retaining and supporting data hygiene in ESPs and Customer Engagement Platforms (e.g., Braze, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, etc.) for Email and Push (in-app messaging would be an added bonus).
The Impact You Will Make:
- Lead in the implementation of the company's driver marketing strategy, supporting the execution of CRM and retention strategies across email, in-product messaging, push notifications, in-app tutorials/ walkthroughs, and more
- Act as a subject matter expert on Grubhub's driver audience. Consult with product, engineering, and marketing teams to understand new and existing data points to design and launch campaigns from ideation to post-launch monitoring
- Own the team's ad hoc request queue and communicate campaign objectives, timelines, and deliverables for the department and stakeholders
- Create and implement operational processes to improve Driver UX and campaign build efficiency
- Manage and prioritize programming requests, proactively setting expectations and managing up in the case of bandwidth constraints
- Monitor live campaigns, solutioning with stakeholders for optimization and remediation
- Partner to design user flows and message templates which meet marketing and logistical requirements
- Follow industry trends to inform new capabilities and testing opportunities for improved program performance
- Partner with the marketing team on technical and creative QA for all campaign launches to ensure flawless execution and deployments
- Serve as CRM operations subject matter expert to apply platform capabilities to operationally execute Driver strategy
What You Bring to the Table:
- Bachelor's degree required
- 3-5+ years experience in direct CRM operations (email and push)
- Hands-on executional experience in Braze (or similar ESPs and/or Consumer Engagement Platforms e.g., Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Iterable)
- HTML and CSS knowledge and technical capabilities to QA/troubleshoot and collaborate to ensure successful and valuable data integrations across data science, engineering, product, and marketing teams
- Ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously, consistently deliver high quality and timely campaigns, and take projects from initial request through to implementation and deployment
- Ownership mindset to proactively identify future opportunities and effectively apply critical thinking to lead solutions day-to-day to deliver a valuable consumer experience
- Familiarity with automation platforms (e.g., enable dynamic creative optimization, personalization)
- Ability to anticipate and understand technical data dependencies
- Strong written and oral communication skills to effectively influence various functional groups and up to executive levels
- Strong self-management / prioritization and influence capabilities
- Strong communication, organization and overall teamplayer
