LRE (Leeward Renewable Energy) is forging an American energy future with integrity, innovation, and positive impact. Born in Texas in 2003, we own and operate over 30 utility-scale wind, solar, and energy storage projects in local communities across the United States, totaling 4 gigawatts (GW) of generating capacity.

LRE continues to help meet increased U.S. energy demand through our robust pipeline of new projects every year. Domestic jobs and manufacturing are fundamental to our full-lifecycle approach to projects, along with a long-term ownership model and a company culture dedicated to our community partners and protecting the natural environment.

The Sr. Associate, Integration is a cross-functional role that supports the Project Management organization by creating clarity, alignment, and proactive risk management across the project lifecycle — from FID through final Commercial Operation.
This role develops and maintains a project-level roadmap that integrates contractual, technical, financial, and operational requirements across teams. By engaging early and supporting execution through delivery, the role helps surface feasibility risks, clarify ownership, and prevent downstream surprises.
This position acts as a force multiplier to the Project Manager by improving visibility, alignment, and execution predictability across projects.
Scope of project responsibility, number of projects supported, and level of independent ownership will scale with experience and role level.

Key Responsibilities:
•    Develop and maintain project-level integration roadmaps spanning development, contracting, project finance, execution, and Commercial Operation.
•    Support Project Managers by identifying cross-functional risks, decision gaps, and interdependencies early, enabling timely intervention and escalation.
•    Facilitate clear communication of roles, responsibilities, and requirements across internal teams and external partners, allowing the achievement of defined project timelines.
•    Track progress against the integration roadmap across Project Management, internal departments, and external counterparties.
•    Integrate, track, and manage requirements and schedule across key agreements, including PPAs, interconnection agreements, financing, EPC contracts, owner-supplied equipment, and market readiness.
•    Support the integration of all project requirements and deliverables into LRE systems so that they can be successfully performed and tracked.
•    Surface recurring risks and systemic issues across projects to inform continuous improvement and execution predictability, highlight process gaps and work with the respective LRE SME to correct any deficiencies.

Qualifications & Experience
•    Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field.
•    Broad, generalist understanding of renewable energy projects and their integration, with the ability to assess, align, and coordinate inputs from diverse functional experts.
•    4+ years Relevant experience in renewable energy project development, execution, commissioning, project management, or commercialization, or demonstrated ability to operate effectively in a cross-functional project environment.
•    Demonstrated ability to operate in complex, cross-functional project environments.
•    Strong communication and facilitation skills with the ability to align diverse stakeholders.
•    Demonstrated ability to work effectively across diverse functional backgrounds and perspectives (e.g., engineering, legal, finance, development), building credibility, integrity, and trust early in the project lifecycle.
•    Ability to influence outcomes without formal authority by creating clarity and trust.

Preferred Skills & Attributes
•    Experience working across PPAs, interconnection, EPC contracts, financing, and market readiness activities.
•    Strong facilitation and communication skills with the ability to align diverse stakeholders.
•    High level of organizational awareness and sound judgment in ambiguous situations.
•    Ability to identify and surface risk early and resolving through collaboration and consensus-building.
•    Comfortable operating without formal authority while influencing outcomes through clarity and trust.
•    Ability to interact effectively across all organizational levels.
