The Inside Sales Support (Application Engineering) role provides techno‑commercial support to the Commercial Applied Sales team by analyzing project requirements, reviewing plans and specifications, and developing optimized HVAC solutions.
The role involves equipment selection (chillers, airside products), preparing budgetary and firm quotations, generating tenders/BOQs, and ensuring timely submission of proposals to support sales conversion.
It requires strong knowledge of HVAC systems, ability to interpret consultant specifications, and use of internal tools (e.g., CPQ/selection software) to create accurate and competitive bids.
This function works closely with sales engineers, consultants, factories, and internal teams to align technical solutions with project needs, improve specification positioning, and enhance win probability.
Key responsibilities include supporting pre-sales activities, benchmarking products, assisting in technical discussions, coordinating for cost inputs, and maintaining a pipeline through responsiveness and proposal quality. The role acts as a bridge between customers, sales, and engineering teams, contributing to productivity, faster turnaround, and overall business growth in the applied segment
