Sr Applications Engineer

What You Will Do:

• You will provide first-line customer-facing post-sales support for Ethernet/PCIe controller/serdes IPs, HBM controller/PHY, and UCIe controller/PHY.
• Work with R&D and provide updates to PM.
• Provide remote and onsite post-sales silicon bring up support to customers worldwide.
• Develop APIs and ATE vectors and Work with our teams to resolve customer issues.
• These tasks may include the following integration and support services
• Verilog model integration and simulation (Pre-Silicon)
• GDS Physical Integration and Floor planning (Pre-Silicon)
• Design for Test Integration (Pre-Silicon)
• SerDes EVB and system testing (Pre-Silicon)

What You'll Need:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. MSEE with 7+ years of experience in IP/Library Design/Support (standard cells, memories, I/O's, Analog Blocks, etc.)/Application Engineering.
• Experience with Front-end or Back-end (Including HSPICE) tools from Cadence, Synopsys, and Mentor.
• Experience in analog/mixed signal designs and DDRX PHYs/SerDes.
• Experience with IP design, ASIC Design Flow, and integration related issues.
• Proficient in writing scripts for automation.
• Prior experience in customer facing roles.

It'd Be Amazing If You Had:

• Experience with PCIe and Ethernet Serdes
• Experience with industry standard simulators, timing analysis, firmware, hardware debug.
• Experience creating API-C test cases/DPI-C functions for configuring registers.
• Experience with Jira, Agile/Scrum, Confluence.
• Knowledge of EDA tools, understanding of simulators.

Salary and Benefits

Your contribution will be recognized with a base salary within the range of $135,000 to $155,000 annually as It is influenced by your qualifications, experience, location, and the internal equity of our team to ensure fairness and consistency across roles. In addition to our comprehensive benefits package, employees are also eligible for additional compensation opportunities, including a short-term incentive program, Retirement & Saving Programs and participation in the Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP)
