What You Will Do:

  • Work closely with Program Business Managers, Integrated Product Team (IPT) Leads, and Program Managers to support program financial execution.
  • Serve as a key team member supporting program cost reporting, Earned Value Management (EVM), and financial analysis activities.
  • Prepare internal cost reports and analyze cost data, financial planning systems, and program performance metrics.
  • Compile quarterly Estimate at Completion (EAC) submissions for review by program and finance leadership.
  • Provide weekly and monthly cost and performance analysis to support Earned Value reporting and EAC development.
  • Perform detailed financial analysis at the functional and product level to explain variances to budget, baseline, and EAC positions.
  • Process approved Baseline Change Requests (BCRs) and support the Latest Revised Estimate (LRE) process using standardized financial tools.
  • Utilize PRISM, including updates to Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and impacts of grouping, pegging, and distribution, to support program material analysis.
  • Ensure all changes are properly incorporated into control systems and program financial tools.
  • Support the program Earned Value cadence and execution of EAC requirements.
  • Respond to billing, funding, and financial data inquiries, as well as ad hoc analysis requests.
  • Support the Advanced Products & Solutions (APS) business area within the Advanced Open Integrated Solutions (AOIS) Finance team as a Senior Analyst, Program Cost Controls (Cost, Schedule, and Control Analyst).

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically requires Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field and minimum of 2 years of related work experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulas, and data analysis), PowerPoint, and Word, with experience analyzing data and preparing reports and presentations for senior leadership.
  • Experience with financial systems and tools, including SAP, SAP Business Warehouse (or equivalent), and Microsoft 365 tools, including Copilot.
  • Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) and Estimate at Completion (EAC) analysis or equivalent financial forecasting methodologies.
  • Experience interfacing and partnering with cross-functional organizations, including Contracts, Operations, Engineering, and other functional disciplines.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as access to certain financial management systems is restricted due to government contractual requirements.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance is required; only U.S. citizens are eligible for clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Experience preparing written and verbal communications for stakeholders at multiple organizational levels, including summarizing and presenting information for decision-making purposes.Willingness to learn and apply new skills in a changing work environment, including participation in training and on-the-job development activities.
  • Experience analyzing data to identify issues, evaluate options, and support resolution of program or business problems using defined processes and available information.
  • Experience reviewing and validating work products to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency prior to submission or delivery.
  • Active DoD Secret or Top-Secret security clearance, or ability to maintain an existing clearance (preferred).

The salary range for this role is 75,800 USD - 144,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
