We are currently seeking a Sr. Analyst – Insurance & Treasury, Cash Management to join our Treasury and Risk Management teams based in our New York, New York headquarters.

JOB SUMMARY

Support both the Risk Management team with the insurance needs of AMC Networks corporate and production policies and the Treasury team in its daily cash management activities.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Risk Management

• Assist production with insurance claims and coverage issues
• Manage the claim administration for all lines of coverages, including processes to ensure timely identification, reporting, and tracking of all claims
• Support insurance renewal application process
• Facilitate the clearance of production activities in a timely manner
• Maintain relationships with production teams and third parties to ensure smooth operations

Treasury

• Reconcile daily banking transactions to accurately reflect company’s cash position
• Prepare payment requests and wire transfers
• Coordinate supporting documentation for internal audits and SOX requests

QUALIFICATIONS (Required & Preferred)

• Bachelor's degree 
• 2-5 years of relevant work experience
• 2+ years in a risk management OR treasury/cash management related role strongly preferred
• Insurance claims handling experience
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including advanced excel
• Familiarity with online bank portals 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to handle multiple projects and interact with all levels of management
• Detail-oriented and able to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
• Willingness to learn new areas within Treasury or Risk Management initiatives

The base compensation range for this position is $80,000 to $90,000 commensurate with experience.
