The Total Rewards Sr Analyst (SATR) is responsible for researching, analyzing, evaluating, and administering a comprehensive total rewards strategy, and programs in alignment with the Company’s business strategy. The SATR will monitor compensation and benefit trends in the business environment and must stay abreast of applicable legislation. This team member is responsible for providing subject matter expertise on administration, compliance, vendor management, reporting, as well as employee communication and education for compensation and benefit programs. This role will partner closely with internal stakeholders across the Company, and external vendor partners to support the business and drive compensation and benefit strategies to attract, motivate, and retain talent.  The Total Rewards Sr Analyst will provide support to the Sr. Director, Total Rewards, and other employees as it relates to compensation.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:    

  • Partner with HR and business partners to understand business needs. Design creative and innovative compensation and benefit solutions to meet the established needs. Prepare and present materials for HR and business leaders that clearly and effectively recommend solutions.
  • Prepare and maintain job descriptions in the organization, ensure descriptions accurately reflect the work being performed by incumbents, and are properly reflected in our systems.
  • Conduct job analyses, market pricing, and internal equity review to determine base pay and salary grade recommendations for all company positions to attract and retain key talent within the organization.
  • Participate in published salary surveys, conduct customized salary surveys, and evaluate compensation survey data to determine company's competitive position.
  • Using competitive salary analysis and other market intelligence, benchmark data against salaries of current jobs and propose competitive salary ranges/bands/zones
  • Serves as the administrator for the Performance Management and Compensation modules within the HRIS
  • Participate and provide support in the planning and administration of the annual salary review processes for assigned business units
  • Propose salary plans and adjustments for internal and external offers conformed to established compensation guidelines, policies, and practices
  • Recommend corrective or alternative actions to resolve known or expected compensation related problems.
  • Perform financial analysis and cost-benefit analysis for benefit plans, strategic initiatives, acquisitions, and special projects. Make recommendations regarding financial impact of benefit plan enhancements, initiatives, acquisitions, and projects
  • Assist in the design, communication, and implementation of incentive and base pay programs.
  • Prepares compensation worksheets for annual merit cycles.
  • Supports the development and integration of new and/or existing rewards programs, policies, and procedures to ensure that programs are market competitive, internally equitable, and cost effective.
  • Assist the HR team on open enrollment, new benefit offerings and other related projects 
  • Assists in the administration of benefits and leave of absence (LOA) processes, as needed 
  • Assists in the review and preparation of monthly sales bonus calculations 
  • Perform other duties as assigned


Preferred Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  • Demonstrated knowledge of federal and state regulatory laws governing compensation and benefit administration practices.
  • Strong foundation in the legal and procedural aspects of benefits administration, including health and retirement plans.
  • Experienced with vendor relations and multi-state employers preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge of compensation and financial principles
  • Ability to systematically navigate, maintain data, run, and interpret reports
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to work through processes, identify and implement process improvements and resolve complex matters.
  • Strong quantitative, statistics, financial, and business acumen
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational/prioritization skills with an ability to multitask to manage multiple projects while maintaining close attention to detail.
  • Has a strong understanding of HRIS systems and experience with integrating total rewards within HRIS systems
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; advanced knowledge of MS Excel.
  • Candidate must have experience in a sales-driven organization, with experience in designing and administering compensation programs that include variable incentive structures. You should be well-versed in structuring base pay, variable incentive plans, bonus calculations, and other pay components to drive performance and align with organizational goals. Proven ability to analyze market data, recommend competitive pay packages, and oversee the full compensation lifecycle—from plan design through implementation and ongoing evaluation—is essential.

 

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or related field or equivalent combination of training and experience.
  • Minimum Required: 6 - 10 years equivalent experience with increasing responsibilities

 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and/or hear.
  • The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, use hands and fingers, handle and/or feel; lift/carry up to 25 pounds, and reach with hands and arms.

Skills Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or related field or equivalent experience
  • 6-10 years of progressive experience in compensation and benefits
  • Demonstrated knowledge of federal and state laws governing compensation and benefits administration
  • Advanced knowledge of compensation and financial principles
  • Experience with HRIS systems and integrating total rewards within HRIS; administrator experience with performance and compensation modules
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office with advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, statistics, financial, and business acumen
  • Experience designing and administering compensation programs including variable incentive structures in a sales-driven organization
  • Ability to run, maintain, and interpret data and reports
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills; strong organizational and prioritization skills
  • Experience with vendor relations and multi-state employers
