Sr. Analyst, Performance Management

Location: This position will be required to sit in the Central/Eastern region and work in the Eastern Time Zone.

• Will be required to travel to Cleveland for leadership meetings.

We are seeking a highly skilled and analytical individual to join our Commercial Bank Performance Management team. As part of the Performance Management team, this individual will be charged with understanding performance trends, anticipating outcomes, and providing actionable insights to maximize growth and profitability across the Commercial Bank. Strong partnering skills and effective communication are integral competencies of this position. Candidate must be comfortable working in a fast paced and dynamic environment with ability to provide solutions and analysis with limited direction at times.

Key responsibilities:

• Act as a strategic partner to the commercial leadership team, providing actionable insights to address performance gaps, capitalize on areas of opportunity, and identify paths to achieve business growth plans
• Set segment, team, and individual performance goals for the Commercial business aligned with financial objectives and strategic priorities
• Monitor sales team results against performance goals, understand trends and drivers, and provide insights to improve productivity
• Conduct revenue and profitability analytics to identify trends and opportunities for growth
• Analyze internal and external data to provide intelligence and insights; lead project work related to commercial banking performance as assigned

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in a related field of study (i.e., Finance, Economics, Accounting, Data Sciences, Mathematics, or other applicable fields)
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in strategic, financial, or business analysis roles
• Strong capabilities leveraging the MS Office suite of products, particularly Excel and PowerPoint

Preferred qualifications:

• Exceptional project management and organizational skills, with a demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple ongoing projects in parallel with limited oversight
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, and / or Looker preferred
• Prior experience with banking or other financial services companies, with familiarity with Commercial banking products and services preferred

Competencies:

• Strong communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to interpret, synthesize, and clearly articulate the findings from complex analysis
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to establish solid working relationships with multiple teams and individuals with varying levels of expertise
• Independent and analytical thinker with the ability to proactively identify, critically assess, and recommend solutions to issues or performance gaps

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $75,000 to $110,000 annually depending on location and job-related factors such as level of experience. Compensation for this role also includes eligibility for short-term incentive compensation and deferred incentive compensation subject to individual and company performance.
