ALSAC/St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital – the fund-raising organization of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital – is currently looking for a Sr Analyst - Market Research as follows.
The Brand Center of Excellence (BCOE) strategically guides and empowers enterprise stakeholders to build brand equities that inspire, engage, retain, and grow global audiences. As a key member of the BCOE, the Senior Analyst of Market Research plays a crucial role in shaping our understanding of market dynamics and consumer behavior. This position involves research design, data collection, analysis, and reporting for a portfolio of primary research studies. The successful candidate will combine expertise in market research methodologies with advanced data mining and statistical analysis techniques. Duties include:
Research Design and Execution:
- Collaborate with the Market Research team to design and execute primary research studies.
- Conduct secondary research to inform study design and identify relevant trends.
- Collect and analyze data using both quantitative and qualitative methods.
Insights and Recommendations:
- Translate research findings into actionable insights.
- Develop data-driven recommendations that guide high-visibility efforts, including audience-led strategies, brand initiatives, program development, and marketing communications.
- Craft compelling narratives to communicate insights effectively.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with seasoned market researchers to align research efforts with organizational goals.
- Present findings to internal clients and stakeholders clearly and understandably.
- Foster a collaborative and future-fit team environment.
Technical Competencies:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong skills in SPSS or a similar statistical software package.
- Familiarity with advanced statistical methods (e.g., general linear models, analysis of variance, factor analysis, etc.).
- Understanding data mining concepts and AI applications.

Position requires a Master’s degree in Marketing Research, Marketing Analytics, Business Analytics, Applied Statistics, Data Science, or a related quantitative field and three (3) years of experience in marketing research, advanced analytics, and business intelligence -- OR -- a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing Research, Marketing Analytics, Business Analytics, Applied Statistics, Data Science, or a related quantitative field followed by five (5) years of experience in marketing research, advanced analytics, and business intelligence. Experience must include three (3) years of experience each of the following:
- Data & analytics platforms / tools including SPSS, SAS software, Python programming, SQL, Tableau & Power BI.
- Data management & engineering foundations including relational databases, data warehouses, data processing applications & data mining.
- Business intelligence & data visualization including data visualization, dashboard creation, scorecard development & data storytelling.
- Core analytics & quantitative methods including data analytics, general linear models, analysis of variance, contingency tables, factor analysis, cluster analysis, conjoint analysis & multivariate analysis.
- Research design & methodology including quantitative research design, survey design, sampling methodology, and data weighting techniques.

Skills Required

- Experience in research design & methodology, including quantitative survey design, sampling methodology, and data weighting techniques
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong skills in SPSS or a similar statistical software package; familiarity with data mining concepts and AI applications
