Key Areas of Responsibilities
- The successful candidate must have the ability and desire to work in a fast paced and challenging environment.
- Individual contributor who will develop quality test cases & will execute it.
- Execute Automation cases for both new requirements and existing regression
- Identify and analyze existing tool sets which can be reused to perform Automation
- Contribute to effort estimation process, framework design and highlight delays or issues as early as possible
- Ensure Automation is used during regular releases
- Ensure test builds are rigorously tested
- Understand Objectives of Non-Functional Testing and convert into an appropriate strategy with a plan of action.
- Proactively engage and communicate with other teams like Development, and Operations as required
Requirements
- 6-8 years of experience in Quality Assurance and in Investment Banking Domain
- Experience working in Cash equities front Office Application testing, OMS/EMS working experience
- Troubleshooting skills using UNIX, SQL and FIX. Basic Operational knowledge for logs checking and writing basic DB queries
- Technical Background with ability to contribute to the Automation frameworks and scripting/ Maintenance of automated test pack
- Good Understanding of Unix, webservers, giga spaces, Middleware Technologies
- Experience in working on agile/devops model
- Good team player. Capable of working under a fast pace and dynamic environment with minimal supervision
