Job OverviewThe Sr Analyst, Hire to Retire Ops (HTR) in T-Mobile's Magenta Service Center handles a wide range of HR operational processes and complex transactions, bringing advanced functional knowledge and a high degree of independence to the work. This role is responsible for resolving complex employee and manager situations, performing compliance monitoring, and contributing meaningfully to audits and process improvement efforts within the assigned HTR function. The Sr Analyst may specialize in an area such as payroll, leaves of absence, accommodations, recruiting support, myHR, HR data maintenance, onboarding, offboarding, background check and other HR Operations support. By applying advanced knowledge of HR policy, employment law, and systems, the Sr Analyst helps maintain the integrity and consistency of HR service delivery. Job Responsibilities:
- Performs a wide range of HR operational processes and transactions within the assigned Hire to Retire function — which may include HR data management, or employee and manager inquiry resolution — handling complex situations with a high degree of independence and serving as a resource for the team on matters requiring advanced functional knowledge
- Leverage deep Workday HCM expertise to administer and govern global HR data throughout the employee lifecycle, ensuring data accuracy, regulatory compliance, and seamless system operations. Execute and validate complex Workday transactions, including EIBs, organizational restructures, international updates, and large-scale workforce changes, while serving as the senior point of contact for advanced Workday support, issue resolution, and system guidance.
- Researches and evaluates complex situations within the assigned function, independently interpreting applicable policies, regulations, and guidelines to reach well-reasoned conclusions, and escalating only matters that are novel, highly sensitive, or outside established parameters
- Performs compliance monitoring and participates in audit activities by reviewing operational data and transactions, identifying patterns, discrepancies, and control gaps, and recommending corrective actions to support program integrity and regulatory adherence
