Job Summary:
As a Sr. Analyst, Finance, you will build and maintain strong partnerships with Residential Services Teams, provide financial decision support, participate
in sales & marketing meetings, conduct regular financial performance and forecast reviews. You will ensure accuracy of financial results, analysis and forecasts; drive compliance to policies and controls; ensure appropriate monthly judgement and estimates are booked/accrued; deliver the financial aspects of the monthly services process. You will maintain the Residential Services Lifetime Connected User Value model and deliver the financial aspects of the monthly S&OP process.
Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics or equivalent skillset developed through relevant finance/business experience
  • 5+ years of experience in a financial analysis role within a business unit
  • Designing and delivering tools, presentations & financial process controls


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Strong knowledge of accounting concepts, including accrual-based accounting for service revenues
  • Strong knowledge of financial budgeting, planning, and reporting processes
  • Working knowledge using financial systems, including ERP, data warehouse queries, planning and reporting tools
  • Ability to travel up to 5% within North America


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's of Business Administration, CPA or CMA
  • Experience working directly with Sales & Marketing &/or Business Unit Lead
  • Strong working knowledge using SAP, BI, BPC, Power BI, and/or SAP Analytics Cloud


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with the Residential Services Connected Business Partners, provide financial decision support, participate in partner & service meetings, conduct regular financial performance and forecast reviews
  • Ensure accuracy of financial results, analysis, and forecasts; drive compliance to policies and controls; ensure appropriate monthly judgement and estimates are booked/accrued; deliver the financial aspects of the monthly S&OP process
  • Develop & maintain CG's Residential Services LTV model for updates to underlying assumptions, implementation of new partners and/or new service offerings
  • Identify and update gaps in processes on a day-to-day basis; prepare & communicate periodic analysis around Business Unit performance & budgets/forecasts on topics such as monthly variance analysis, volume-price-mix, gross to net revenue, user growth, user churn, service attachment rates, margin walks; assess & communicate financial risks and opportunities, product & service profitability and effectiveness of discount programs; provide analysis of projects and initiatives against goals
  • Drive the annual budgeting and monthly forecasting processes for the Commercial Business Unit; help ensure budgets and forecasts are aligned with strategic direction; ensure compliance with planning calendar timelines
  • Work with product managers and product owners on their budgets/forecasts by providing analysis around price, mix, promotions, returns, warranty, and other related metrics/trends; facilitate planning/forecasting of strategic initiatives
  • Help drive Residential Business Unit New Product Development projects by creating and maintaining financial business cases, reviewing underlying business assumption, tracking project costs, documenting, and highlighting project risks and opportunities, collaborating with Nogales Cost Accounting, and ensuring appropriate project forecasting
  • Develop queries and analysis tools that support business analytics; create and maintain business process documentation and drive continuous improvement; act as a first line of support for front end users in finance and be the "go to" resource for questions and issues regarding the Residential Services component of the Residential Business Unit
  • Develop knowledge in SAP, BI, BPC, Power BI & related tools; leverage knowledge to support continuous improvement.


This role will be hybrid out of our Oak Brook, IL headquarters.
