We are looking for a Sr Analyst, Finance & Analytics to join our Finance Analytics team which sits within the larger centralized Finance team. In this role you will report to a Manager, Finance & Analytics directly supporting the priorities and objectives of the Director and Managers.
The Impact You Will Make:
- To succeed in this role, you must be innately curious, deeply analytical, highly driven, and a strong communicator
- Support business leaders within Product, Logistics, Care, and Fraud to identify and solve business problems and understand the financial implications
- Prepare and Monitor KPIs daily, weekly & monthly, investigating underlying causes of variances, and highlighting trends to the Executive and Senior Teams
- Perform advanced analytics to better understand the critical drivers of fraud, care, and logistics - including but not limited to diner behavior, restaurant relationships, and driver policy abuse
- Develop financial models and analyses to support strategic initiatives for department leads
- Be curious! Find data nuggets, trends, and other analytical goodies that help us grow faster and generate more profit
What You Bring to the Table:
- BA/BS in an analytical discipline such as Finance, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or Economics. Master's Degree preferred
- 3-4 years of experience in a finance analytical role
- Clear and concise communicator to peers, management, stakeholders, and executive leadership with demonstrated ability to identify, understand and influence business impact (including metrics, financial value, and tangential risks)
- Experience with Mathematical Modeling, Decision Science, and Machine Learning (ie: Decision trees, linear & logistic regressions)
- Technical Requirements
- Advanced SQL skills (CTE, subqueries, window functions). Optimized and efficient
- Experience with Python for data analysis, modeling, & automation preferred
- Tableau & Excel (or Looker / other data visualization tools)
