What Account Management contributes to Cardinal Health
Direct Sales is responsible for driving sales and services to new and/or existing customers through face-to-face or telephone contact to meet individual and organizational sales objectives.
Account Management is responsible for cultivating and maintaining on-going customer relationships with an assigned set of customers. Provides new and existing customers with the best possible service and recommendations in relation to billing inquiries, service requests, improvements to internal and external processes, and other areas of opportunity. Provides product service information to customers and identifies upselling opportunities to maintain and increase income streams from customer relationships.

Job Summary

This role is responsible for providing customer support related to agreements with all national and regional group purchasing organizations.  This will include problem-solving and coordination of activities through various departments and teams within Cardinal Health.  The ideal candidate will have some experience in customer service, managing through systems and problem resolution.

Responsibilities

• Service and support the national and regional group purchasing organizations (GPOs) agreements
• Communicates with internal and external stakeholders and customers
• Support with investigations of customer questions and issue resolution
• Responsible for helping with additional projects to support the Enterprise contracting team, as needed
• Works within multiple systems including Salesforce and customer portals, and using tools such as Excel

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience, preferred
• Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred
