The Digital Workplace Analyst II will provide global support for Allegion’s portfolio of collaboration applications built on Microsoft Office 365 (including SharePoint, Power Automate & PowerApps). This includes the development and administration of these tools and solutions.
Primary Accountabilities
- Gather requirements, architect, design and develop applications are per Business requirements
- Design and develop end-to-end solutions using Dataverse/SharePoint and PowerApps & Power Automate
- Take ownership of projects from end to end.
- Collaborate day-to-day with an energetic team of like-minded developers, business team and others.
- Work closely with business teams to understand their processes and system requirements.
- Draft and maintain design documentation, state diagrams, and other design & architecture related documentation with adequate notation to document the implementation details of business requirements.
- Participate in and conduct code reviews, design reviews, Unit Testing
- Provide architecture and software development support for new and existing PowerApps canvas-based apps or SharePoint customized Forms.
- Use both out-of-the-box and custom connectors for PowerApps, Power Automate
- Work closely with Enterprise Architecture and Security team to deliver compliance and secure solution.
- Explore and research new technologies to bring new ideas.
- Prepare Best Practices for coding, unit testing, deployment, environments
- Follow coding guidelines, project processes, quality standards and deliver with right attitude.
- Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review
- Participate in implementing and improving the Power Apps governance process
Qualifications and Primary Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline
- 5-7 years of experience working on Microsoft Collaboration technologies such as SharePoint Online, Power Apps, Power Automate, Data verse, On Premise Data Gateway, Microsoft Teams etc.
- Working in an Agile Sprint Model
- Strong verbal and written communication
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work well in teams
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Experience working and collaborating with global teams
- Self-starter and independent
- Ability and flexibility to learn and adapt to new technologies
Nice to Have Skills
- Experience on Power Automate Desktop
- Experience on Power Apps Governance
- SharePoint Framework
- Power Platform Fundamentals and App Maker certification is a plus
- Experience on Power Virtual Agent and Power BI is a plus
