We are seeking a Senior Analyst, Business Systems Analysis, to lead the delivery of innovative application solutions that support the operations and scalability of our Brookfield Wealth Solutions and Brookfield Credit business areas. In this role, you will apply your expertise in hands-on product management, application support, and business systems analysis to implement applications, data, and system integrations.  The successful candidate will demonstrate strong business and technical acumen within the Asset Management or Insurance industry, exceptional communication skills for engaging business stakeholders, ability to maintain product/requirements documentation and a disciplined approach to solving complex technology challenges.

What You Will Do

  • Ensure operational excellence across applications & integrations by managing Service Requests and Incident Response metrics in ServiceNow to achieve target SLAs.
  • Deliver continuous improvement through automation, solution optimization, and root cause analysis of past incidents.
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date product documentation, including solution diagrams, data catalogs, data dictionaries, field mappings, user requirements, product roadmaps, and vendor software license details.
  • Implement and support data interfaces and system integrations across application scope.
  • Design, implement and support application integrations leveraging Product Management experience and knowledge of the Insurance and Asset Management business domains
  • Serve as application product expert to support business user queries and ensure optimal usage by users.
  • Leverage data marts within cloud platforms such as Databricks and Snowflake to deliver business intelligence reports.
  • Monitor and support ETL/ELT processes between multiple applications, ensuring high performance and reliability.
  • Monitor alerting and perform after-hours L1/L2 support of applicable application and integration solution components.
  • Implement robust data validation and cleansing processes to maintain accuracy and integrity.
  • Participate in migration of existing legacy application integrations to Snowflake, ensuring consistent solution design, optimal performance, stability and scalability.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to translate requirements into effective, technology-driven solutions.
  • Communicate complex application engineering processes, architectures, and solutions to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure initiatives are executed in alignment with broader technology and business goals/standards.
  • Support end users in using data and applications for performing daily operations.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Management, Business Administration/Commerce, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in product ownership and business systems analysis with specialization in the Asset Management or Insurance industry.
  • Proven experience supporting application and data solutions within investment management and insurance domains, across public and private asset classes.
  • Experience with Investment management & Insurance business domains, specifically in terms of application and data models across Public and Private asset classes
  • Experience with Asset Management applications such as Aladdin/ADC, Clearwater/LPX, WSO, SS&C PLM, Mercatus, Numerix, TriOptima, Bloomberg AIM, and Duco.
  • Experience with Actuarial applications such as FinX, AON Pathwise, Moody’s Axis and Milliman MG Alfa.
  • Proficiency in data orchestration and workflow automation tools such as Workato, Informatica or equivalents.
  • Proven expertise in ETL/ELT, data integration concepts with exposure to REST API, Python, Snowflake, SQL Server, XML, JSON, CSV.
  • Practical experience applying modern data frameworks (e.g. Medallion Architecture) to ensure structured and efficient integrations.
  • Experience integrating diverse data sources and services.
  • Experience working as a Product Manager for a set of applications
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual skills, with the ability to interpret requirements and develop effective solutions.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage cross-functional teams.
  • Experience assessing and mitigating risks in data workflows.
  • Knowledge of data governance frameworks and compliance requirements for data protection.

Salary Range: C$95,000- $115,000
