We’re looking for a commercially aggressive, highly structured, execution-driven professional who enjoys identifying opportunities, engaging decision-makers, and converting prospects into signed commercial agreements. This role starts as a hands-on hunter and evolves into a commercial leadership position.
What you’ll do
Individual Contributor (Hunter)
Identify, prospect, and qualify new B2B clients and strategic partners within banking, fintech, and financial services.
Own the full sales cycle: lead generation, discovery, proposal, negotiation, and deal closure.
Build and maintain a robust and predictable sales pipeline, continuously reviewed with the CRO.
Prepare and lead commercial meetings with senior stakeholders (C-level, founders, heads of product and operations).
Develop tailored value propositions, commercial structures, and financial models for each opportunity.
Drive negotiations on pricing, scope, and commercial terms in coordination with Product, Legal, and Finance.
Coordinate internal teams strictly to enable deal closing, not ongoing account management.
Ensure a clean handoff of closed deals to implementation or account teams once contracts are signed.
Commercial Team Build-Up
Define the commercial playbook, sales processes, and go-to-market approach based on hands-on market experience.
Hire, onboard, and develop a commercial team as the business scales.
Set clear objectives, KPIs, and performance standards for the sales organization.
Coach and support the team on deal strategy, negotiation, and execution.
Maintain accountability for pipeline quality, conversion rates, and revenue delivery.
What we’re looking for
3–5 years of experience in business development, sales, or commercial roles within banking, fintech, or financial services.
Proven track record originating and closing new B2B deals (hunter profile).
Experience mentoring or informally leading others.
Strong understanding of B2B commercial models, pricing structures, and negotiation dynamics.
Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills; ability to build financial and commercial business cases.
Comfortable engaging with senior executives and decision-makers.
Full professional proficiency in English (verbal and written).
Highly proactive, resilient, and results-oriented; comfortable with ambiguity and early-stage structures.
Experience with APIs, digital platforms, or financial infrastructure is a strong plus.
