Restaurant Brands International is looking for an Sr. Analyst, Business Development & Franchising to join our Burger King Development Team based in Miami, FL. The Sr. Analyst supports the effort to grow the Burger King footprint This includes building a bench of potential future partners and structuring, negotiating, and underwriting deals that will help build the future of the Burger King franchise system. This role supports financial, operational, and structural diligence, creates marketing material to pitch to new partnerships, sources potential new franchisees, and helps find, build, and maintain third-party relationships for the brand.

RBI follows a 5 day, in-office work schedule to support collaboration. Candidates should be comfortable working onsite 5 days per week

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Key team member helping build a new platform and process for recruiting, onboarding, and maintaining relationships with new Burger King franchisees.
  • Work closely with business unit leaders in developing and executing business development strategy for long-term growth of the Burger King brand
  • Attract the highest quality prospective franchisees, marketing the opportunity externally through new ‘grass roots’ recruiting sourcing paths, conferences, and other partnerships with third parties to help attract best-in-class operators.
  • Build financial models, outputs and scenarios for diligence and deal structuring for portfolios with prospective franchisees that will include developing a new financial framework and standards for franchisees to adhere to
  • Conduct due diligence on prospective candidates and partners, including facilitating in-person recruiting and discovery days
  • Liaise between Development, Franchising and Field teams to gather necessary insights necessary to pitch portfolios
  • Develop and deliver presentations both internally and externally to business unit leaders
  • 3 to 5 travel trips per year depending on business demand for conferences and other boots-on-the-ground recruiting efforts

Skills:

  • Growth and entrepreneurial mindset with a great attitude and personality willing to roll-up their sleeves, be a team player, and adapt to varying and challenging demands of a dynamic business with a small team
  • Undergraduate Bachelor’s degree
  • Years of experience 1-3
  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving and project management skills
  • Excel and financial modeling experience or eagerness to learn
  • PowerPoint and presentation structuring
  • Ability to collaborate with different departments to collect variety of data and structure pitch to potential franchisee partners
  • Honesty, high integrity, personal accountability and a passion for the success of the brand, the team, and personal career growth
