We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated analyst to join GoTo’s Strategic Finance & Operations team. This individual will play a critical role in driving data-driven decisions across the business, supporting the Finance organization but working closely with Operations, Sales, Marketing, and Product in a consultative role by leveraging advanced analytics tools and methodologies. The ideal candidate will possess excellent problem-solving abilities, experience interacting with stakeholders, and a strong analytical skill set including proficiency in Excel, SQL, and Power BI/Tableau. Previous SaaS experience and Python are strongly preferred.

Your Day to Day

As a Sr. Analyst, Business Analytics you would be working on

• Data Analysis & Reporting: Utilize Excel, SQL, and BI tools (Power BI/Tableau) to analyze complex datasets, derive actionable insights, and present findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work cross functionally to understand business needs and translate them into analytical solutions that drive business outcomes. Specifically, assisting in monthly and quarterly business reviews and leveraging analysis to track progress against strategic initiatives and goals.  The ideal candidate will strive to streamline and improve existing processes.
• Data Visualization: Design and develop intuitive dashboards and reports in Power BI or Tableau to help the business track key performance metrics and make informed decisions.
• Advanced Analytics: Leverage Python and data science techniques to perform advanced analytics, including forecasting, statistical modeling, and predictive analytics.
• Process Optimization: Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation within data workflows, ensuring efficiency and scalability.
• Business Insights: Develop actionable insights based on data analysis that can guide strategic business decisions, support financial forecasting processes, assist in annual planning cadences, and provide recommendations for improving business performance.

What We’re Looking For

As a Sr. Analyst, Business Analytics, your background will look like

• Experience: 3+ years of experience in business analytics, preferably within a SaaS environment.
• Technical Skills:
  • Excel: Advanced proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, macros, advanced formulas).
  • SQL: Strong knowledge of SQL for querying and manipulating large datasets.
  • BI Tools: Proficiency in Power BI or Tableau for creating interactive dashboards and visualizations.
  • Python: Familiarity with Python for data analysis, scripting, and automation (experience with libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, etc.)

• Additional Skills:
  • Data Science: Knowledge of statistical modeling and machine learning are a plus
  • Financial Acumen: Experience with financial analysis, modeling, and reporting in a business context is highly desirable.​

The above shows our ranges from minimum to maximum. Your compensation will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. You will also be eligible for a variable pay component and benefits.
