General Summary
We are looking for a highly analytical and technically strong Sr Analyst, Analytics with 8–10 years of expertise in client/marketing/product analytics to join our Pune analytics team. This role will support enterprise clients across North America and requires deep technical proficiency in advanced SQL, Data Warehousing and Cloud Data Platforms (Snowflake, Databricks), combined with exceptional communication skills and proven experience working with external stakeholders. This is a high-impact contributor role within the client analytics team where you will play a critical part in project planning, technical execution, and internal collaboration with senior leadership.
Essential Job Functions
- Develop complex, optimized SQL queries across large-scale data environments and build reusable analytical datasets, and scalable data models and pipelines for downstream BI reporting
- Perform segmentation, campaign performance analysis, lifecycle analysis, churn/retention analysis, and attribution modeling using proprietary and client datasets
- Participate in client discovery sessions to understand business challenges, KPIs, and strategic objectives and help translate ambiguous business problems into structured analytical frameworks
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders based in the US/Canada to help support preparation and interpretation of analytics outputs by ensuring rigorous data validation prior to client delivery
- Partner with internal analytics leadership to develop detailed man-hour estimates and timelines
- Identify risks, dependencies, and technical constraints before project kickoff and contribute meaningfully to internal planning and feasibility discussions
Qualifications and Skills
- At least 8–10 years in Client Analytics, Marketing Analytics, Product Analytics, or related roles with a proven track record of supporting clients based in US/Canada (Ideally Fortune 500 or global enterprise clients)
- Expert-level SQL proficiency is mandatory (5+ years) - Complex joins, window functions, CTEs, query optimization, and performance tuning
- 2 – 3 years of hands-on experience working within the Databricks environment and at least one of the following: Oracle SQL Developer, Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Snowflake
- Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal) with demonstrated ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Intermediate knowledge in Python or SAS (data manipulation, automation, statistical analysis) is strongly preferred
- Associate or professional-level certifications such as Databricks Certified Data Analyst Associate, Snowflake SnowPro Core, Oracle SQL Certified Associate is highly valued
- Strong understanding of relational databases and data warehousing architecture and design principles is expected

Skills Required
