We are currently seeking a Senior Analyst, Ad Sales to join our Analytics, Insights & Research (AIR) group at our New York, NY location.. The AIR team sits at the center of AMC Global Media’s evolving streaming, content and commercial business, helping translate audience behavior, platform performance, and market intelligence into decisions that drive growth.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Create, analyze, and distribute regular reports for networks, programs and campaign performance that may include performance trends across linear and digital, audience metrics, ad spend, attribution, etc.
  • Showcase the value of AMC-GM linear and streaming inventory to advertisers by assessing affinity between a brand’s target audience and AMC-GM viewers. Assess fit on a platform, network, and program level, utilizing both first party and third-party tools (MRI, Cadent, iSpot, Nielsen, VideoAmp, Helixa). Demonstrate the efficacy and efficiency that advertising across AMC-GM would bring to partners.
  • Assist in providing research support for addressable and data driven buying opportunities, from pre-campaign planning to in-flight reporting, to post campaign attribution and ad effectiveness (through key KPIs including incremental reach, ad attention, online search engagement, store visitation, website conversions, brand awareness, sales).
  • Maintain and update metadata in syndicated and internal databases that include data mapping and data transformation.
  • Spot and analyze trends for our brands and media competitors.
  • Clearly communicate data and produce analysis for Ad Sales team and ad clients.
  • Respond to a breadth of ad hoc requests tailored to client specific asks and other responsibilities as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS (Required & Preferred)

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher.
  • 3+ years of experience in media research, audience analytics, advertising research, data analytics, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of media math, audience measurement, advertising metrics, campaign effectiveness, and attribution methodologies.
  • Familiarity with industry tools and data sources such as Nielsen, MRI/Simmons, iSpot, VideoAmp, TVision, EDO, Cadent, Helixa, Freewheel, or comparable platforms.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to integrate multiple data sources, identify trends, and develop actionable business insights.
  • Experience analyzing audience, campaign, competitive, and cross-platform performance data across linear, digital, and streaming environments.
  • Ability to translate complex data into clear, compelling narratives and recommendations tailored to clients, business partners, and senior leadership.
  • Strong understanding of data visualization principles and experience creating executive-ready reports, presentations, and dashboards.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, data manipulation, and reporting; experience with Tableau, Power BI, SQL, Python, or other analytics tools is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and deliver high-quality analysis in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, organizational, and problem-solving skills with a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
  • Intellectual curiosity, initiative, sound business judgment, and a passion for turning data into insights that drive decision-making.

SUCCESS IN THIS ROLE

  • Success in this role means becoming the person others turn to for answers hidden within the data. The successful candidate will consistently uncover meaningful audience, advertising, and marketplace insights, translate them into compelling narratives, and provide recommendations that help shape sales strategies, client conversations, and business decisions. They will develop a deep understanding of AMC Global Media's brands, audiences, and competitive landscape, earning credibility as a trusted advisor who can connect data, business context, and commercial opportunities to drive measurable impact across the organization.

The base compensation for this position is $70,000 - $90,000 commensurate with experience. AMC Global Media additionally offers a comprehensive benefits package including Medical, Dental, Vision, Prescription Drug Coverage, 401k Plan, Wellness Program, Life Insurance, Tuition Reimbursement, Paid Time Off, Paid Parental Leave and Adoption Services, among other benefit plan options, subject to eligibility requirements.
