The Audience Planning team transforms audience insights into compelling, multichannel marketing journeys that drive engagement, growth, and retention. We are seeking a Sr. Advisor, Partnerships Marketing to serve as the strategic lead for a designated priority audience segment. This role is pivotal in aligning audience strategies with ALSAC’s broader organizational goals, ensuring that every touchpoint is intentional, impactful, and integrated.
Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Audience Leadership
Serve as the subject matter expert for a priority audience segment, developing long-range and annual audience plans that align with ALSAC’s Strategic Plan. Lead the creation and execution of donor strategies that drive measurable business outcomes.Integrated Marketing Strategy
Develop and execute integrated marketing strategies and campaigns across multiple channels including creative, digital, social media, email, and performance marketing. Analyze market trends, customer insights, and competitive landscapes to identify growth opportunities.Cross-Functional Collaboration
Identify and lead cross-functional teams of internal and external stakeholders to design and implement integrated audience journeys. Facilitate collaboration across departments to ensure alignment and adoption of audience strategies.Project & Portfolio Management
Manage a portfolio of high-value programs and partnerships exceeding $20 million. Optimize processes and allocate resources to maximize ROI and ensure timely, high-quality execution of go-to-market strategies.Audience Advocacy & Education
Represent ALSAC/St. Jude as an audience expert, educating internal and external stakeholders on audience objectives and strategies. Pilot innovative concepts and contribute strategic insights to unlock new opportunities.Integration & Optimization
Champion the integration of messaging, creative, and audience journeys across channels. Ensure consistency with brand positioning, business objectives, and audience expectations.Insights & Storytelling
Leverage data and insights to craft compelling, audience-led narratives. Drive content and messaging strategies informed by research, audience behavior, and programmatic needs.Performance Measurement
Lead the development of quarterly audience trackers and post-activation reports. Collaborate with analytics teams to assess performance against KPIs and inform future strategies.Communication & Influence
Communicate complex strategies clearly and persuasively to stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership. Foster alignment and buy-in through effective storytelling and strategic influence.
Essential Job Functions:
- A strategic mindset with the ability to translate insights into actionable marketing plans
- Proven success in managing high-value marketing portfolios and programs, including partnerships exceeding $20 million
- Strong experience with project management tools and marketing operations platforms
- A collaborative leadership style that inspires teams and drives results
- A data-driven approach to storytelling and audience engagement
- Comfort with ambiguity and a passion for innovation and continuous improvement
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Proficiency in marketing technology platforms, CRM systems, and analytics tools
- A demonstrated ability to influence, gain buy-in, and build relationships across a matrixed organization
- Experience mentoring, coaching, and providing strategic guidance to teams, with a focus on setting clear objectives and fostering a collaborative, innovative culture
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred
- Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience, including 1+ year managing people or leading cross-functional teams
- Strong working knowledge of audience planning, integrated marketing, and strategic execution
- Creative and analytical thinker with a problem-solving mindset
- Familiarity with research methodologies, paid media, brand management, and marketing best practices
- Experience driving change and leading initiatives in a dynamic environment
- Proven ability to coach, develop, and motivate team members
- Self-motivated and effective in team environments
This position will be based at National Executive Office in Memphis, TN.
