Position: Senior Advanced R&D Engineer
This position is intended to convey to the new, independent company, to be named Solstice Advanced Materials when the separation occurs. This is expected to occur in late 2025 or early 2026.

Job description:
- Build up lab capability of material application evaluation in Li-Battery.
- Identify the failure model of current collector / electrode / battery performance and guide product design team on formulation and process optimization and guide customer by value proposition.
- Process design on coated aluminum foil.
- Identify battery partner and work on downstream evaluation process.
- Work with global team on multiple partner cooperation. Well Cross-functions communications on projects.
- Collect information of competitors, end users and industries, monitor competitors’ activities and make analysis/proposals for counteraction.
Qualifications:
- Master degree or above in Electrochemistry, Polymer materials, Material science and technology or related.
- Minimum 5 years of industry solid experience in battery development, especially on electrode development / current collector development / battery performance analysis. Be very familiar with battery assembly process from carbon-coated film to battery, key performance evaluation and manufacturing equipment, failure mold analysis etc.
- Strong knowledge of raw material correlation with battery performance and making process.
- Battery packaging material development experience is a value added.
- Multicultural background
- Good internal and external technology presentation skills. Good communication skills with internal and external customers. Ability to work with inside cross-functional teams.
- Fluent oral English would be better but not a must

Skills Required
