ResponsibilitiesKEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead and manage complex engineering projects to ensure successful execution and delivery.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
  • Develop and implement project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Spearhead cross-functional teams in the conception, planning, and execution of new product developments using a robust Systems Engineering process. Oversee all phases of customer and regulatory requirement elicitation, requirements development, system architecture design, and rigorous verification and validation to ensure compliance.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of customer requirements and feasibility assessments, producing detailed specifications that ensure traceability from system levels down to subsystems and components. Manage requirement changes throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Formulate technical solutions that include architecture designs, test strategies, and integration pathways. Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure solutions meet customer requirements, performance criteria, and operational expectations.
  • Oversee the integration of M-Code, P(Y)-Code, and SPS GPS receivers within the Embedded GPS/INS product line, providing technical support for system integration, verification, and validation throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Lead critical design review meetings (SRR, PDR, TRR, CDR, FCA/PCA, TIMs) with internal and external stakeholders to assess design integrity and compliance with both technical and customer specifications.
  • Manage the program financial aspects by applying earned value management (EVM) techniques to evaluate performance against the budget. Implement risk assessment and mitigation strategies to ensure financial stability during program execution.
  • Update and maintain project schedules ensuring that all phases of development are on track and aligned with program timelines.
  • Identify and mitigate potential financial and technical risks related to project development, ensuring sustained delivery of project objectives.
  • Lead proposal efforts as a subject matter expert, driving technical baseline definitions and the development of Basis of Estimates (BOEs) to accurately align with customer requirements and project goals.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to engineering team members throughout all phases of product development. Support their growth and development in requirements definition, system architecture, software architecture, hardware architecture, documentation, integration, and verification/validation processes.
  • Provide on-request technical support for fielded systems, ensuring operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
QualificationsYOU MUST HAVE
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in technical disciplines such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics.
  • 5+ years of experience across all phases of the systems engineering lifecycle, including requirements analysis, system design, architecture development, integration, testing, verification, and validation.
  • Must be eligible to obtain a DOD Secret Clearance due to export controls and ITAR regulations.

  • Master of Science or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Industrial and Systems Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or related Engineering degree at an accredited college or university.
  • Active DoD Secret Clearance.
  • Experience in managing multi-domain projects.
