Title: Sr Advanced Hardware Engineer
We are looking for a Sr Advanced Hardware Engineer responsible for Managing and updating the Aero lab across different HTS sites, He will be responsible for handling different test solutions and equipment and ensure they are up to date with calibration and certification requirements. The Electronic Test team is responsible for electronic test activities on an avionics engineering program(s). The Sr Advanced Hardware Engineer works with different team across Aero to update and review electrical, Mechanical needs are met for different test setup as per product specification. He is also responsible for maintaining and optimization lab layout to create space for upcoming programs.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- Handle Aero lab movement from old building to new building
- Perform bench dis integration and dis assembly of different types of Aero test benches
- Perform Assembly and integration of different types of test benches.
- Support test bench users on avionics integration and testing
- Troubleshoot and resolve and issues reported on test benches.
- Coordinate with suppliers, Facility team and product team for maintenance and upgrade of Aero lab across HTS sites.
- Plan the lab layout for different types of test benches and explore opportunities for lab space optimization.
- Plan electrical and Mechanical requirement of different lab across HTS site and support deployment of test benches in lab.
- Mentor the team members, champion new ideas and lead them to conceptualize the concepts.
- Proactively connect with users and collaborate with product teams to understand the overall test solution needs.
- Effectively map the competitive landscape, benchmark the design and technology trends
- Project coordination, Budget/schedule responsibility – working level knowledge.
- Be open to receiving feedback and constructive criticism.
Qualifications
Requirements:
- 10+ years of industry experience in lab management with hand-on experience in equipment testing and maintenance.
- Diploma or equivalent degree in Electrical engineering.
- Hands-on experience on dealing with different teams across organizations for coordination of lab upgrade and maintenance.
- I should have a good understanding of different types of test benches used across different Aero product lines.
- Should have a good understanding of different lab equipment, their functions and input requirements.
- Should have good understanding of Lab electrical, Mechanical and cooling requirement,
- Contribute to RDE transformation for NPD (New Product Development) through agile and cost-effective test solution.
- Go-getter attitude and ability to maneuver in complex, abstract and dynamic business scenarios
- Prior hands-on experience on test solution
