Sr Advanced Enterprise Architect

The Senior Enterprise Architect plays a key role within the Unified Collaboration IT Team, taking responsibility for architecting and supporting the Office 365 environment with a particular focus on mobility and Microsoft Teams. This position requires working closely with multiple IT teams to deliver global support for the Resideo corporate Microsoft Office 365 tenant. Success hinges on self-direction, exceptional critical thinking, and proactive problem-solving skills designed to optimize user experiences. The Senior Enterprise Architect works alongside network, security, and IT Service Management teams to discover and apply solutions that meet changing business needs by setting goals, exploring innovative strategies, and minimizing costs and operational disruptions. Being part of the architecture team provides an opportunity to guide enterprise-level strategic decisions.

Job Duties

• Deep knowledge of Office 365 architecture, including mail flow, application integration, and collaboration
• High-level expertise in Office 365, Active Directory, Intune, Teams, Exchange, and Azure
• Proven leadership and project management abilities
• Experience in Office 365 migration, troubleshooting, system design, and service delivery
• Skill in installing, upgrading, configuring, testing, maintaining, and supporting software in production environments
• Assist in shaping forward-thinking strategies for Office 365 products and services
• Work with business units to evaluate and encourage adoption of new capabilities related to Office 365 and associated tools, services, and systems
• Document ongoing operations and ensure business continuity, including system topology, operating procedures, and disaster recovery plans
• Oversee and manage Office 365 infrastructure settings and policies
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills across all levels of the organization
• Monitor the health of Office 365 services and address advanced service requests
• Stay adept at Office 365 license administration
• Support and maintain operational functions for Microsoft Teams, Intune, and mobility services, including managing iOS and Android devices
• Show proficiency in PowerShell
• Align Office 365 technology solutions with overall business goals
• Ensure Office 365 systems and services are secure and reliable
• Work with stakeholders to collect, define, and document business requirements
• Track, report, and escalate issues to Microsoft technical support
• Guarantee security and performance of mobile devices
• Protect data stored on mobile devices
• Review and enforce security protocols
• Troubleshoot mobile device software and hardware, providing tier 3 support
• Renew and administer mobility contracts
• Coordinate with mobile carriers about plans, device options, and pricing
• Collaborate with Accounts Payable to verify timely billing and payments to mobility vendors and carriers
• Manage BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) and company phones, as well as inventory
• Assess and test new collaboration software
• Evaluate Office 365 features and apps not yet deployed in production

You must Have

• Minimum seven years of Office 365 experience
• Strong analytic and troubleshooting skills across enterprise platforms
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with engineers and managers at every level
