Responsibilities

Skill Requirements:

  • Good knowledge about C++ programming and SDLC. 
  • Detailed understanding and working experience on Avionics Software and Certification.
  • Experience in the Model Based Development, A661 systems, SCADE modelling.
  • Analysis of customer and operational requirements to define Software architecture, capture requirements, perform integration/functional testing/SW, and conduct design reviews.
  • Ability to develop, validate and verify software level requirements for flight deck avionic programs.
  • Trouble shoot current SW interfaces and performance problems
  • Able to work with a diverse group of team members who could be geographically distributed.
  • Interfaces with stakeholders outside of their CoE, including Equipment Engineering Teams, Customer Engineering Leads (CEL), SPE, LSE, ASL, other engineering.
  • Good Understanding of Avionics architecture (Software and Systems).
  • Experience with Agile development processes.
  • Knowledge on AGILE Philosophy, configuration management system (such as Dimensions, DOORS, BitBucket, SVN, etc.) and Atlassian JIRA Change management tool.
  • Anticipate problems, recognize, and eliminate barriers. 
  • Keep management apprised of program status and roadblocks.
  • Manage efforts based on priorities, availability, and commitments.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively; both verbally and written.
  • Ad-hoc in-house tool development.
Qualifications

QUALIFICATION: BE/B.Tech, M.E/M.Tech Experience

EXPERIENCE: 8 to 14 years of Work experience on Aerospace systems

  • BE/B.Tech or M.E/M.Tech degree
  • 8 to 14 years of aerospace systems experience
  • Strong C++ programming knowledge and SDLC experience
  • Experience with Avionics Software and certification processes
