We’re looking for a Senior Ads Product Marketing Manager to shape the future of performance bidding, optimization, and measurement at Pinterest. You’ll own the go-to-market strategy for new solutions that help advertisers align campaign delivery with the business outcomes they value most.
In this role, you’ll translate complex advertiser measurement needs into clear product strategy, positioning, and scalable go-to-market motions. You’ll partner closely with Product, Engineering, Data Science, Measurement, Sales, Performance Solutions, and Product Operations to bring new lower-funnel solutions from early testing through broader adoption. Your work will help advertisers optimize toward the outcomes that matter in their own measurement source of truth—and build greater confidence in Pinterest as a performance channel.
What you’ll do:
- Own product marketing strategy and go-to-market execution for Pinterest’s measurement-aligned bidding and optimization portfolio, including MPO, Last Click Mode/optimization windows, and future custom conversion solutions.
- Build a deep understanding of advertiser measurement approaches, attribution models, lower-funnel objectives, and performance needs to identify high-value market opportunities and influence product strategy.
- Define target segments, customer problems, value propositions, positioning, messaging, and proof points for early-stage and scaled bidding products.
- Lead commercialization for alpha and beta programs: shape learning agendas, define advertiser eligibility and recruitment strategies, develop onboarding and enablement materials, and turn findings into product and GTM recommendations.
- Partner with Product, Engineering, Data Science, and Measurement teams to translate market insights into product requirements, prioritize investments, and navigate technical and commercial tradeoffs.
- Serve as the voice of advertisers and Sales to Product, and the voice of Product to Sales—synthesizing customer feedback, competitive intelligence, product data, and opportunity sizing into decision-ready recommendations.
- Develop clear narratives, sales enablement, training, and customer-facing materials that make complex bidding, optimization, and measurement concepts accessible and actionable.
- Establish success metrics across adoption, advertiser performance, sentiment, revenue impact, and operational readiness; use results to refine product strategy and determine the path from alpha to beta to broader scale.
- Drive cross-functional alignment across Sales, Performance Solutions, Measurement Solutions, Product Operations, Business Marketing, Legal, and other partners to deliver cohesive, scalable product launches.
- Use AI tools thoughtfully to accelerate market research, customer-feedback synthesis, and analysis, while applying sound judgment, validating outputs, and maintaining ownership of final recommendations.
What we’re looking for:
- 5+ years of product marketing, ads marketing, or related experience, ideally in performance advertising, ad delivery, bidding, measurement, attribution, or marketing technology.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience developing and executing product go-to-market strategies, including positioning, messaging, segmentation, enablement, launch planning, and adoption measurement.
- Experience bringing early-stage products or features through alpha, beta, and broader commercialization; comfort operating when product-market fit, product scope, and operating models are still evolving.
- Strong understanding of lower-funnel advertising, conversion optimization, CPA/ROAS, attribution, and first- and third-party measurement approaches.
- Technical fluency to understand and communicate how conversion signals, data integrations, attribution windows, optimization models, and bidding strategies affect advertiser outcomes.
- Strong analytical judgment and experience using qualitative and quantitative data to define customer needs, size opportunities, evaluate test outcomes, and make strategic recommendations.
- Proven ability to influence and build trusted partnerships across Product, Engineering, Data Science, Sales, Solutions, Operations, and executive stakeholders.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to turn complex technical concepts into clear, compelling narratives for internal and external audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to use AI tools to improve research, analysis, or workflow efficiency while validating accuracy, protecting sensitive information, and retaining ownership of final work.
