The Senior Administrative Assistant will provide support to leadership within Nuveen’s Private Fixed Income team. The role will report into the Chief Investment Officer for Nuveen Green Capital and will be primarily responsible for the management and coordination of the administrative functions in support of the CIO. Under moderate supervision, this job meets the daily requirements of upper management and various other office needs, including operational tasks, organizational duties and office-wide coordination efforts.
Key Responsibilities and Duties

Calendar Management – intelligent and reliable travel arrangements with complex itineraries in liaison with internal and external stakeholders; proactive prioritization and filtering

Organize and facilitate a high volume of meetings, conferences, investor meetings/events (including international conference calls/Zoom Meetings)

Ensuring all deadlines are met and that managers are fully prepared for meetings (assisting with the preparation of presentations: updating and creating presentations, printing and binding)

Coordinates overall office functioning through inventory checks, space scheduling, event planning, event execution and paperwork processing.

Acts as a liaison between upper management and internal departments, ensuring effective communication and cohesion.

Maintains upper management calendars, contact lists and provides ad-hoc support as needed.

Collaborating with other members of the PFI administrative team in order to ensure that there is adequate cover across business lines and offices

Participate in Nuveen/TIAA franchise and culture building activities such as recruiting, training and community events

Base Pay Range: $27.08/hr. - $51.92/hr.
Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
