Position Summary:

The Senior Accounting Manager is responsible for providing technical and analytical accounting leadership of the US business segment. These responsibilities include ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and timeliness of financial statements and reports. This role demands an analytical mindset and a business-oriented approach to oversee and enhance accounting operations, systems, and controls in the US.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports for the U.S. business segment. Ensure these reports are compliant with US GAAP.
  • Coordinate the preparation and submission of essential documents to Corporate, including Consolidation Support Packages (CSP), Control Self-Assessment (CSA) documents, controller's call notes, and other miscellaneous requests.
  • Monitor the monthly account reconciliation process and perform reviews for assigned reconciliations.
  • Participate in quarterly balance sheet reviews to identify financial risks and opportunities across all entities.
  • Collaborate closely with the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team on accounting matters that affect financial results.
  • Provide leadership and support to accounting staff and drive a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
  • Provide technical accounting support and guidance to the broader US Accounting team.
  • Monitor the execution of KEY SOX controls and processes on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Interact directly with External Auditors and fulfill Prepared by Client (PBC) requests.
  • Engage in various strategic projects, including system enhancements, reporting conversions, and the implementation of new accounting guidance for business initiatives.

Education/Experience: A bachelor's degree in accounting is required. CPA or MBA preferred along with 10-plus years of related financial and accounting responsibilities.

The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $105,500.00 - $179,400.00 per year.

The ranges above reflect the potential annual base pay across the U.S. for all roles; the applicable base pay range will depend on the candidate's primary work location, pay grade, and variable compensation plan. Individual base pay within each range depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time of hire. New hires starting base pay generally falls in the bottom half (between the minimum and midpoint) of a pay range.
