Sr Accountant

General Ledger Accounting:

This role is responsible for multiple accounting tasks that comprise:

Journal entries: Record daily, weekly and monthly journal entries across different entities.Payroll: Oversees and support payroll activities to ensure correct payments and internal control processes are followed. Work with internal and external stakeholders for social security compliance.Taxes: Prepares, reviews workpapers for external fiscal consultants for tax compliance.Financial Reporting: Prepares financial reports and their support schedules.Statutory Audit: Conducts the process with external and internal auditors.

This position requires a college level degree in Accounting or Finance and at least 5 years of professional experience, preferably in a global company. The following skills and knowledge are also desired:

Experience with accounting software programs, ERPs (such as PeopleSoft, SAP, etc.)Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)Good communication skills, proactiveness, independence and team spirit drive.Verbal and written English Fluency

IMPORTANT:

This role reports is based in Sao Paulo, Brazil, and follows a hybrid working arrangement of three days on-site in our Sao Paulo office and two days remote (work from home). No exceptions will be made to this working arrangement.Please submit resumes in ENGLISH.
