About the Role
We’re seeking a detail-oriented and driven Senior Accountant to join our growing accounting team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for managing key general ledger accounts, performing accurate and timely reconciliations, and supporting a variety of accounting projects. This position offers the opportunity to work on diverse balance sheet accounts spanning both assets and liabilities, while also contributing to special projects and ad-hoc initiatives that help drive process improvements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage assigned general ledger accounts, including preparation, review, and reconciliation.
  • Perform month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes using NetSuite and FloQast to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
  • Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
  • Maintain compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and GAAP standards.
  • Assist with preparation of external audit requests and workpapers.
  • Support sales & use tax filings and other regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Research and apply relevant accounting guidance, documenting conclusions in a clear and organized manner.
  • Participate in accounting-related projects, process enhancements, and system improvements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve accounting issues and ensure data integrity.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; Master’s degree a plus.
  • CPA or CPA eligibility preferred.
  • 2–4 years of accounting experience, with strong preference for candidates with public accounting background.
  • Solid understanding of US GAAP.
  • Experience with NetSuite and FloQast strongly preferred.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including XLOOKUP, pivot tables, INDEX/MATCH, and related functions.
  • Strong critical thinking skills and ability to work independently.
  • Ability to research technical accounting topics and apply guidance appropriately.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Pay Range:

$75 - $85k
