The incumbent in this position is responsible for assisting in the preparation of consolidated financial statements and other accounting statements and reports including management reports. In addition, the individual will prepare and verify the accuracy of journal entries and accounting classifications.

Job Description:

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepares and reviews monthly journal entries, consolidating entries and month-end analyses.
• Prepares various exhibits and commentary required for reports issued to management including outside Directors. 
• Prepares Financial Statements, Consolidation reports and executes Internal Controls.
• Prepares written procedures on job responsibilities.
• Assists with special projects, year-end activities and related duties.
• Prepares account reconciliations.
• Evaluates and recommends improvements to accounting procedures and systems.
• Reconciles and analyses intercompany activity.

Successful incumbents will have:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting (or equivalent)
• CPA Preferred
• 3-6 years’ accounting experience
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
• Ability to function effectively while meeting deadlines
• Strong interpersonal, communication and administrative skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Windows environment and has an excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Applications
• Familiarity of SAP accounting systems is a plus

Estimated base pay for the position is typically between: $72,900 - $96,200

The actual base pay for the position may be influenced by factors such as education, training, skills, qualifications, competencies, years of experience, job-related knowledge, and scope of the role, and could be outside of the posted pay range.
