In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and recording business transactions, balancing ledgers, reconciling accounts, and preparing financial reports and supporting schedules for assigned clients. Your expertise in franchise restaurant accounting will be essential as you provide hands-on support and tailored financial solutions to our expanding client base.
Who Are We?
Doyle Accounting Services DBA Franchise Fuel provides accurate bookkeeping services on time, every time, for small and midsize franchise restaurants across the United States. We ensure our customers have tax-ready, franchisor-compliant financial statements so they can focus on running their businesses.
What Your Role Will Be:

  • Develop and maintain a close professional relationship with assigned clients.
  • Manage many customers (the number will vary based on ownership structure and complexity). Interface confidentially with both leadership and customers to ensure smooth financial reporting services. 
  • Review financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with franchisor and tax standards. 
  • Ability to confidently communicate with customers on a wide range of topics (e.g. financial results, buy/sell discussions, tax, budgeting, and forecasting).
  • Ability to develop and maintain client relationships. 
  • Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
  • Communicate with supervisor, co-workers, clients, and others courteously and professionally.
  • Shows initiative in a positive “can do” attitude.
  • Follow all bookkeeping procedures and guidelines set up by management.

Education and Experience:

  • Accounting knowledge. Advanced understanding of accounting principles. 
  • Prior experience in franchise restaurant accounting or a related field is required.
  • 5-8 years of experience in a related position and/or bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent in a related field. 
  • QuickBooks certified or advanced knowledge of QuickBooks is required.
  • Sage experience is preferred but not required. 
  • Willingness to go the extra mile to ensure the customer experience is best in class.
  • Actively seeks areas to improve accuracy and efficiency within the company.

Expected Hours of Work:
This role is a full-time position. Workdays and hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM. Overtime and weekends may be required during necessary critical periods to meet deadlines or when Doyle Accounting Services DBA, Franchise Fuel is dealing with unpredictable increases in workload.
