Job Summary:
The Senior Accountant is responsible for month end close, including journals, reconciliations, reporting, as well as identifying issues and proposing solutions, standardizing processes and procedures with an efficiency mindset. Strong analysis and communication skills will make you an effective member of this team, supporting a fast-growing business.
Key Responsibilities:
· Manage with the month end close process for Global entities.
· Perform Currency Translation and Consolidation of Financial Statements.
· Provide project-based process improvement and analytics support.
· Prepare reporting package (P&L and KPIs) for upper management.
· Design and deploy metrics and reports that provide business oversight to leadership.
· Responsible for Statutory compliance and reporting for the Global entities.
· Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
· Prepare and post journal entries based on reviews and analysis of financial data.
· Preparation of information in support of financial and tax audits
· Assist in the completion of special projects.
· Perform related duties and special projects as assigned, such as data entry and testing as we migrate accounting systems.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
· Multicurrency experience desired
· Financial Analysis and reporting experience required.
· Experienced in accounting close and consolidation processes is required.
· Research and reconciliation skills required.
· Intermediate to advanced proficiency with MS Excel and Microsoft Office Suite required.
· SAP experience a plus; experience with the FICO module desired
· Experience with Full Cycle Accounts Receivables and/or Accounts Payable is desired.
· Strong attention to detail and excellent follow-up skills required.
· Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks while working from a shared email inbox.
· Ability to work well with individuals at all levels inside and outside of the organization.
· Strong communications skills (written and verbal) as you will be interacting with customers daily.
· Self-starter with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
· Team player who thrives in a small, cross-functional teamwork environment
· Sales operations experience would be helpful in this role.
